piazza blu brings artificial intelligence into the online trade: The TOP 100 company from cologne integrates the products of IBM Watson Commerce with their customers and adapts them individually to their wishes. Artificial intelligence is playing an increasingly important role, as managing director Oliver Goerke explains with an example: “With the help of image analysis and recognition, online retailers can recommend similar products to their customers or offer an outfit consultation with matching clothing.” Another application area: ” Machine Learning “can detect computer fraud attempts on sales platforms independently.

Such and other ideas rarely come from the customer side. They often arise in the labs, where the employees gather with the greatest “play instinct”. Together with students who write their bachelor’s or master’s theses at piazza blu and representatives from universities and technical colleges, they are working on new ways of using the software.

In 2015, piazza blu was named the first and only Gold Accredited IBM Partner in Europe. Our company, which employs 50 people, wins the TOP 100 award for the second time in a row.
